This week has finally proven once and for all that some Republicans are not serious about repealing President Obama’s signature health care law.

After days of bickering, partisan debate, and the failure of Senate leadership’s ObamaCare Lite boondoggle, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell finally gave us a vote on clean ObamaCare repeal Wednesday afternoon.

This was the same clean ObamaCare repeal bill that Senate and House Republicans passed in 2015 and President Obama vetoed. Senator Rand Paul has been calling for a clean repeal vote for weeks when he realized Republicans wouldn’t coalesce around a replacement.

Every single Senate Republican, except Susan Collins (ME), voted in favor of this clean repeal legislation in 2015, yet on Wednesday afternoon these Republicans voted against it (feel free to give them a call and let them know how you feel):

Senator John McCain (AZ) — 202-224-2235

Senator Dean Heller (NV) — 202-224-6244

Senator Shelley Moore Capito (WV) — 202-224-6472

Senator Rob Portman (OH) — 202-224-3353

Senator Lamar Alexander (TN) — 202-224-4944

Senator Lisa Murkowski (AK) — 202-224-6665

Senator Susan Collins (ME) — 202-224-2523

So these seven Republicans broke their promise to the American people, the 2015 clean repeal measure failed, and Republicans were forced to go back to the drawing board.

Then late last night Republicans held a vote on “skinny” repeal. What exactly did this “skinny” repeal entail? Senator Paul tried to give us a good idea before the vote that took place in the wee hours of this morning:

This would not have been full repeal of ObamaCare, but it would have been a great start, and it wouldn’t bailout the entire ObamaCare failure in the process.

So, do you think Republicans got their act together and passed skinny repeal?

Wrong. Dead wrong. Super wrong. You can thank these three Republicans:

Senator John McCain (AZ) — 202-224-2235

Senator Lisa Murkowski (AK) — 202-224-6665

Senator Susan Collins (ME) — 202-224-2523

The early morning vote to pass skinny repeal failed by one vote. With Senators Collins and Murkowski already openly opposed, it was Senator John McCain who really let the American people down by voting against the measure.

Once again, Republicans botched a chance to repeal ObamaCare.

We lost this battle, but the war is not over. ObamaCare is in a death spiral and will have to be replaced one way or another. Please continue to stand with America’s Liberty PAC during the fight to repeal ObamaCare.

And check out the hypocrisy from these Republican Senators:
